She was predeceased by her loving husband, William; her son, Bill; and her daughter-in-law, Lesley. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Marilyn (Wayne), Rob, Darlene (Frank), and Dave; her daughter-in-law, Vickie; her 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Gerrie, her brother Ferdinand and her sister-in-law Greet, who are both in the Netherlands.
Our mother, grandmother, and Oma was a devoted Christian whose faith never wavered. She came to Canada at the age of 19 to marry our father and went on to build a long and happy life, surrounded by her church community, friends, and family.

A funeral service will be held on April 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Yates Memorial Services.
