
Passed away at Fir Park Village on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 84 years of age. Marjorie is predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Richardson. She is survived by her son John and his wife Penny, her granddaughter Jennifer and her brother in England, Brian.
Marjorie was born and raised in London, England and grew up during the Second World War. Shortly after the War she met the love of her life, Bill, and they were married in 1952. Bill passed away suddenly in 1990 and Marjorie decided to emigrate to Canada to be with her son John, and his family in Port Alberni. After setting in her new country she became involved with the Sunshine Club, St. Alban's Anglican Church, and Trinity Church. Marjorie volunteered with the Hospital Auxilary at the Attic Thrift Store. She loved to get her hair done once a week, enjoyed lunch every Friday at Mountain View Bakery and grocery shoppig at Quality Foods every Saturday morning.
