Al was born on June 24, 1942 in Bralorne, BC and grew up in Revelstoke, BC with his parents George and Mary, and brother Dave. Following studies in Vancouver, Al moved to Ocean Falls, BC where he met his wife Nancy, and together had children Blair & Lori. The family moved to Port Alberni, BC where Al spent the rest of his years, having proudly worked as a longtime instrument mechanic at Pulp & Paper Mills up until his retirement.
Whether it was skiing at his cherished Mount Washington chalet, or boating on nearby oceans and lakes, Al will be remembered through his enjoyment of the outdoors.
He is survived by his children and brother. At a later date, Al's ashes will be spread privately by his family.
May he rest in peace.
