Richard Gary Vallee

Predeceased by his parents: Eugene and Pearl Vallee, and sisters Dianne Price and Audrey Graves. He is survived by Shirley, his wife of 37 years; children: Eugene (Rebecca) and Danielle (Robert) van Schaik; grandchildren: James and Benjamin van Schaik; brothers Ronald and Gerry and brother-in-law Denis Rodinsky (Darlene) and thier children: Tanner and Jordan as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Richard loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping but especially fishing. A longtime and active member of the Salvation Army Church, he was also an active member of the community, involved in the Boy Scouts, Sea Cadets, as an umpire for softball and he especially looked forward to delighting children every christmas as his favourite holiday character.

A visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00pm on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 4005-6th Avenue. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am on Friday from the Salvation Army Church, 4841 Redford St. with Capt. Neil and Chrystal Wilkinson officiating. Cremation to follow.
