Survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Dianne; siblings, Ken (Nancy), Bob, Donnie (Janice), and Maureen as well as 10 nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Born and raised in the Alberni Valley, Rick worked at the pulp mill for over 40 years. A member of the Black Powder Club and an enthusiastic camper, fisherman and hunter, he enjoyed the outdoors. More importantly he loved to entertain. An accomplished host, Rick would welcome people into his home to enjoy his wonderful cooking and good company. He enjoyed traveling as well.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Italian Canadian Fraternal Society Hall, 4065 – 6th Ave.
