Mr. Timothy James Gallagher

Tim is predeceased by his loving mother Edith Gallagher.

He is survived by his beautiful children whom he cherished so dearly; his daughter Kailey Thomson and husband Ross, and son Cody Gallagher; his adorable grandson Dominic; his wonderful father James Gallagher; his loving brothers and sisters, Ian Gallagher and wife Heather, Jamie Gallagher, Elaine Gallagher, Julie Semple and husband Dave and Karen Gallagher; Along with his nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tim came to Port Alberni in 1967 from England. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces in the late seventies and traveled to beautiful Cyprus as an honorable service man for our country. As Tim grew up, he discovered his great talent and love for music and the guitar. He had an amazing sense of humor and could brighten up the gloomiest of days with his smile, his laugh and the beautiful melodies he created. As a hobby and profession, Tim was an upholsterer. The beautiful job he did for many was noticed and appreciated by all. Tim was diagnosed with cancer in February of 2008 and fought a courageous battle until the very end. He will be missed greatly and remains forever in our hearts. Terrific father, brother, son, and man. May you finally rest in peace.

A Memorial Service will be held 12 Noon, Thursday, April 2, 2009 at the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 4005 – 6th Ave, Port Alberni, BC with Pastor John Cox officiating.
