Mrs. Glenda Claire Buttram, 72, of Neah Bay, passed away October 14, 2011. Glenda was born in Tulalip, Wash. to Elwood Irving Sr. and Mildred C. (Smith) Irving on March 24, 1939.
Glenda graduated high school, and retired as a childcare coordinator.
She married Raymond Buttram, Sr. on October 10, 1960. He preceded her in death on September 9, 2002.
Glenda is survived by her sons Victor Buttram (Leona) and Joe Buttram (Cora), all of Neah Bay; daughters Susan McKean (Jim) of Michigan, Mardell McGimpsey (Joseph) and Belinda Buttram, all of Neah Bay; brother Elwood Irving (Sharon) of Auburn, Wash.; sisters Phyllis Antoine and Maxine Webber, both of Auburn, and Karen Johnson (Ed) of Neah Bay; 14 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; sister Christina Irving; brother Reginald Irving; nephew Kris Irving; and granddaughter Anna Marie Buttram.
A funeral will be held Thursday, October 20, 2011, at the Neah Bay Assembly of God at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at Harper-Ridgeview Funeral Chapel, 105 W. 4th St., Port Angeles, from 9-4:00 p.m. Burial will be at Neah Bay Cemetery.
