Born on March 11, 1943, Anthony lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and dedication to those he loved. He is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Sonjia Jewell, who was his steadfast partner and closest friend. Together, they built a family and a life rich in memories and love.
Anthony will be dearly missed by his children Cindy Rudolfi (Tom), Lisa Perry (Tim), Terry Taylor, and Todd Jewell (Joanne); his brother Jeff Jewell (Sybil) and sister Nancy Forwalt (Hank); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who cherished his wisdom, humor, and generosity.
He was preceded in death by James Lofton, brothers Phil Jewell, Ted Jewell, Jack Jewell and sisters Pat Arnell and Jody Richardson.
Known for his love of the outdoors and a competitive spirit, Anthony found great joy in fishing, hunting, golfing, and playing cribbage and other card games with family and friends. He brought a steady hand and a quick wit to every table, and his presence always made the game—and the moment—better.
Anthony’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and quiet strength. His life touched many, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A celebration of Tony’s life is planned for later this fall.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests spending a quiet day with loved ones doing something Anthony would have enjoyed—casting a line, playing a hand of cards, or simply sharing stories and smiles.
Rest in peace, Anthony. You were deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
