He moved to the Englewood area in 1985 from Westminster, Massachusetts. He was a retired Foreman for Weyerhauser Paper Mill Corporation in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
He was a member of St. David's Episcopal Church in Englewood; the Scottish Rite, Shriners and the Masonic Lodge all of Englewood; the Industrial Management Club, the Amalgamated Transit Union #690, the Paper Makers Union #20 A.F.L. all of Fitchburg, Massachusetts and the Lions Club of Westminster, Massachusetts.
He is survived by his sons, Bruce A. Maggs of Livingston, Texas, Carlton A. Maggs and Clifton A. Maggs both of Westminster, Massachusetts; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Laura G. Maggs.
