He was born on December 2, 1933 in Portsmouth, England to John Ayling and Alice Ogburn Ayling. David came to this area from Little River, South
Carolina in 2003. He was service manager for Ryder Truck Rental for 15
years.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Ayling of 34 years of North Port, Florida; his children, Lesley (Robert) Rusca of Henderson, Nevada and Jackie Ayling of Portland, Oregon; a sister, Betty (Ron) Irons of New Zealand; his 3 grandchildren, Megan (Scott) Kurtyan, Ashley (Jesse) Vodges and Nicholas Rusca.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service for David, Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home 2405 Harbor Blvd. Port Charlotte, Florida.
