Donald B. Cole, 82, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Sunday December 22, 2013. He was born May 6, 1931 in Potosi, Missouri and moved to this area in 1996 from Osage Beach, MO. Don was a member of the Burnt Store Presbyterian Church. He was a talented and well known artist and woodworker.
He is survived by his wife Allene Cole, son Bryce Cole of Orange, CA and daughter, Donna Heinrich of Lamar, Texas; two grandsons and six great grandchildren.
A Witness to the Resurrection Service will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Burnt Store Presbyterian Church, 11330 Burnt Store Road, Punta Gorda, FL. with Pastor Tim Stewart officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in memory of Don be made to the Suncoast Humane Society, 6781 San Casa Dr, Englewood, FL 34224.
