After an extended illness, Erma passed away peacefully in her own home sometime early morning of November 2, 2023 in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Erma was born on October 10, 1942 in Lyndeborough, New Hampshire to Harvey and Vera (Draper) Paige. Erma spent her married life in Boston, attending a Presbyterian Church and teaching children about Christ as a Missionettes Leader. She graduated from Boston College with a BA in Accounting in 1983, and then worked as an accountant in Boston for many years. She retired to Port Charlotte, Florida in 2003 with her husband, Frank, where they attended and were active volunteers at the Community Life Center and later the First Alliance Church. Erma was known for her loving spirit, charitable heart and integrity. She loved her friends, family and the life she built with her husband; but most of all, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Survivors include her two sisters Frances Bernard of Manchester, NH and Sylvia Sapianza, of Bradenton, Florida as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Vera Paige; her husband, Frank; sisters: Thelma Bouchard and Caroline (Bragdon) Junkala; and brother Clarence Paige.
Calling hours are Sunday, November 19 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Kays -Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM November 20 at Movement Church (formerly the ‘First Alliance Church of Port Charlotte’) 20444 Midway Blvd, Port Charlotte, Florida. Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood, Florida.
