Don’t Cry
When the light shines down on me and I get where I’m going,
there will be no more pain, no more tears. I’ll be walking, without pain, breathing
without trouble, there will be laughter all around and joy in the air.
I’ll be surrounded by family & friends and all my animals that have gone before
Me, who have come to great me.
So don’t cry for me, open up a bottle of VO, put on a polka dance, tell jokes and
Celebrate my life, not my death.
I’ve done just about everything I wanted to do, remember all the good things, all the trips,
Get together, dinners and parties.
For I am at a greater place and I shall always remain in your hearts, if you want me there.
Did I want to go (no), was I ready to go (yes), so again I say, don’t cry for me.
