She moved to the Venice area 8 years ago from Newington, Connecticut.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Venice, the Beacon House of Venice and she was a volunteer at Venice Health Park.
She is survived by her brother, Robert (Lorraine) Turner of Englewood; her sisters, Patricia Kowalczyk and Cherie Turner both of Newington, Connecticut. She was predeceased by her parents Ed and Vi Turner.
A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Venice, at 10:00 a.m. January 26, 2016.
Memorial donations may be made to the Beacon House of Venice.
