

Geraldine "Jerry" Cirinesi, 87, of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away July 13, 2011. She was born November 19, 1923 in Detroit, MI. Jerry was an Interior Designer starting her career at Smith's Home Furniture in Detroit MI and eventually became a partner in Drapers Fine Furniture located in St. Clair Shores, MI. In 1976, Jerry and her husband, Christopher moved to Punta Gorda, FL where they started their own business as a Building Contractor and Realtor, Executive Homes Inc. They continued to stay in Punta Gorda after they retired in the first home that her husband built in 1976.
Many who knew Jerry knew she was quite the social organizer. She was President of the Iselettes for the Isles Yacht Club in the early eighties and a long standing member of Burnt Store Country Club (Twin Isles Country Club). Her passion for many years was Contract Bridge and she was a Gold Point Member for the various bridge clubs within the community. She also enjoyed, golfing, bowling, entertaining and organizing various functions wherever she was needed. She enjoyed traveling and continued to do so even after her husband's death with various friends and family.
Jerry is survived by her two daughters, Linda Johnston and Christine (David) Einkorn; her sister, Roberta Allen, five grandchildren, Elizabeth (Beth) LeBeau, Christie LeBeau, Christopher Einkorn, Ryan Einkorn and Dennis (Sara) Johnston, four great grandchildren, Madison, Jack, Max and Candice and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dominic and Gladys Bologna, sisters, Winifred Lytle, Rosina Cipriani and brother, Burneal Bologna.
A Celebration of Jerry's life is scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the St. Andrews South Golf Club, 1901 Deborah Drive, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Tidewell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd, Sarasota, FL 34228.
