Harold Eugene Wilcox

Michigan died January 24, 2015.

Survivors include daughters Anne (Ted) Larew, Susan (Chuck) Gamalski, Mary (Jeff) Buhl and Carol

Wilcox (Bill Baker); a sister, Billie McPherson of Gilroy, California and five grandchildren.

His beloved wife, Nancy Anne, died in 2009.

Harold was born in Galena, Missouri to Francis B. And Opal

Wilcox. He graduated from the University of Missouri in 1951. He met his wife

during his college years, and they were married in January, 1952. He spent his

entire professional life with Kmart Corporation, formerly the S. S. Kresge Co.,

retiring in 1985 as a Senior Vice President. In retirement, Harold enjoyed

raising cattle on his boyhood farm in Missouri, vegetable gardening, traveling

the world, shelling on Florida beaches and spending time with his children and

grandchildren. His kindness, humor and generosity was evident throughout his life and will be missed.

Lemon Bay Funeral Homes, Englewood Chapel, is in charge of the cremation arrangements.

Services will be private.
