Howard P. Johnson 74 of Port Charlotte, FL passed away at Sarasota Memorial Hospital on July 24, 2025. Born in Syracuse, NY on September 18, 1950 to Andrew and Grace (McComber) Johnson, where he lived until moving to Port Charlotte in 2013.
He is predeceased by his parents; brothers William Sr. and Edward Johnson; sisters Joyce Hinkle and Rita Grover; and brother in law Robert Hinkle Sr.
Howard is survived by his brother Lee Johnson of FL; sisters Ruth Johnson and Penny (John) Keeler; brother in law Thomas Grover Sr. and sister in law Lois Johnson, all of Jamesville, NY. Also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Syracuse, NY.
