Kenneth Frank Benedict, 94, of North Port, Florida died Saturday October 6, 2007 in Port Charlotte, FL. Mr. Benedict was born in Novesta Township, Michigan on August 22, 1913 to Leo and Edith Howard Benedict.
He retired from Detroit Edison in 1975 after 38 years. He moved to Jensen Beach, Florida in 1976 from Waterford, Michigan. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Waterford and a member of Nettles Island Church in Jensen Beach.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Helen J. Yates Benedict of North Port, FL; his children, Douglas, Terry, Michael Benedict and Jan Grennell; his 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Private services will be held.
