Kenneth "Kenny" W. Crafts, 78, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away peacefully at his home Saturday April 6, 2013. He was born June 23, 1934 in Boston, Mass. A veteran of the Navy, Kenny was the Captain of a shrimp boat, and for most of his life, he shrimped off Boca Grande and Texas. He enjoyed camping and hunting with his family in the Everglades.
He is survived by his brother, David Crafts, sister Pam Crafts, stepchildren, MaryAnn Malson, Joyce Lindsey, Ralph Jones, Johnny Jones and Frankie Jones. His beloved wife, Wanda predeceased him in 2006.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am, Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, FL 33950.
