Larry Dye

Larry C. Dye, 78 of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Born in Highland Park, MI, on August 29, 1946. Loving husband to Nancy Dye (Molina) for 37 years. Preceded in death by Lewis C. Dye (Father), Shirley Ruth Beach (Mother), Lewis H. Dye (Brother) and his loving and faithful dog "Baby".

He cherished his relationship with his brothers-in-law Gary Molina (Peggy) and Jerry Molina (Kylee). Known for his sense of humor, affectionate smile, easy going personality, loved to travel, always lit up a room no matter the occasion and his practical joking was legendary.

Larry retired from General Dynamics as an Accountant. He dabbled in Real Estate for a short time thereafter. He was proud to be a graduate of Schoolcraft College in Livonia Michigan. But most of all, he loved playing in a band, which he did for over 50 years. He was an excellent self-taught bass guitar player and lead singer.
