Marceline Loftus, age 91, entered eternal life on April 15, 2023, in Sarasota, Florida. "Marcy" was born in Schenectady NY in 1932 to the late Michael and Florence Rowney. She graduated from St. Columba's High School, Mildred Elley School of Business and Misericordia Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia , PA . Marcy also received a BS from Barry College, FL. A resident o f Florida the majority of her life, she worked as a Registered Nurse for over 50 years.
Marcy was united in marriage with John Loftus, who passed away in August of 2021. Also predeceased by her brother Michael Rowney, 2011, she is survived by siblings Robert Rowney, James Rowney and Rita Marie Rowney, all of Schenectady NY and John Rowney (Silvia) of Naples, FL and William Rowney (Lulu) of Diamond Bar, CA.
Marceline's family and friends will miss her greatly for her gentle spirit, quick wit and great faith in God. We will cherish the memories of our time together with her at our annual family gatherings in Schenectady.
