Mary Ann Bailey, age 80, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 after a long illness. Mrs. Bailey was born in Oswego, New York and was the daughter of the late Paul and Helen Murray. She was married to the late Frederick T. Bailey until his passing in 2015. Surviving are a daughter Dawn Kennedy, brother-in-law Michael Kennedy; a son, Michael Bailey and daughter-in-law Maria Torres; a granddaughter, Kaylee Bailey; sister and brother-in-law Judith and Victor Darrow; sister-in-law Janet Murray, predeceased by Paul "Buddy" D. Murray who passed in 2013, and multiple nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Mary will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 2405 Harbor Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL 33952, followed by a funeral service from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Burial location will be at Sarasota National Cemetery 9810 State Road 72 Sarasota, Florida 34241. the date of burial is to be determined.
