Michael Scott Butcher, 33, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away April 24, 2017.
He was born in Jasper, Alabama on July 6, 1983.
He was married to Brittany McDonald Butcher on April 16, 2012.
He proudly served in the US Army during the Afghanistan war; he was a Police Officer for Jasper City Police Department; and was also a roofer for Kuykendall Roofing Co.
Michael is survived by his parents, Melody Sue Harris and James Ellis Butcher; his step-father David Allen Harris his son; Collin Michael Butcher; his daughters, Cynthia Irene Butcher, Christina Darlene Butcher and Justice Paige Butcher; brothers, Jason Erick Butcher and Christopher Paul Harris.
A visitation will be held at Kays-Ponger and Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E. Marion Ave Punta Gorda, FL 33950 on Saturday May 6 from 4pm to 6pm.
