Michael Edward Dernbach

Michael Dernbach, 87, of Port Charlotte, FL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 28, 2021. Michael was born May 7, 1934 in Chicago, IL to the late Charles and Pauline Dernbach. He was a retired carpenter in Illinois and served proudly in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper member of the 101st Screaming Eagles Airborne Division. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his loving family, his wife of 63 years, Shirley; three daughters, Denise (Mike) Goode, Sandra (Robert) Ledna, and Sherry; and four grandchildren, Erik, Michael (Chelsey), Kristina and Nick.
