Dear Ann,

I just happened to learn about Osco, and I just wanted to send my condolences.  I am so sorry to hear about Osco.  He was a great person.  Buddy and I thought the world of him.  Buddy and I moved up to GA after hurricane Charlie, and I too, lost Buddy in January of 2007.  Their passing certainly leaves an emptiness you can never seem to fill.  My faith has pulled me through as I hope it will for you.

I am very sorry for your loss of Mr. Osco, he will be deeply missed. Mr. Osco was a great inspration to many that grew up here and loved him like one of our own family members. Every time I would cut his hair, he always had a very good and colorful fish story, I will miss those. He always made me laugh when I saw him, and told me look out for little Osco cause he could out fish us all. He always bragged about his children and grandchildren. He smiled from ear to ear when telling stories. All our prayers go out to the entire Simpson Family.

Dear Mrs.Simpson, Diane, Frankis, and Randy,  We were so sadden to hear about Osco.  Nelson looked up to him in many ways.  I myself got to meet Osco a few times and will always remember the day he introduced me to "swamp cabbage". It was awesome. Such a charming and wonderful man. sorry to hear this , osco and ann have been friends for many years ,osco and crew did the brick stucco on my house 30 years ago ,,still looks brand new ,,we worked together, for many years in punta gorda ,we fish ,boated and rode airboats in the everglades. he was a man who always was happy and lived life to the fullest.he is talking and laughing with Big T. Osco, was a husband who adored his wife, a Father who raised two children, Randy and Diane, both who grew to walk in his footsteps as people of honor and integrity. Anne, I didn't know Osco very well but what little I did see him I could tell he was a wonderful person.  I remember him at First Baptist Pioneer Days cooking up cabbage from a palm tree.  My first taste. I know Brother Mack thought it was something out of this world. Well I haven't had the chance to try it again so I'll say it was the best too!  Alway a smile on his face and willing to help out where ever and when ever there was a need.  Praying for you and the family. Dear Mrs. Simpson & Family,
Our hearts were saddened to hear of "Bully" passing on from this life. Please know that our thoughts and prayers will be with you all through this most difficult time. I never had the oppurtunity, as an adult, to share any time with Bully, but I feel as though I knew him well. I have heard so many stories about him from my mother, Maurine Simpson Johnson. I have always been proud of the common heritage that we have. The Watermelon Road, and Simpson Hill, has suffered another great loss.
