
Osco Simpson Jr., 75 of Punta Gorda, FL passed away on Monday, June 2, 2008. He was born December 10, 1932 in Northport, AL the son of Osco Simpson, Sr. and Agnes Bagwell. Osco served in U.S. Air force as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean Conflict. He married Anne Brown 53 years ago and then moved here in 1965 from Northport, AL. He was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church of Punta Gorda, a 32nd Degree Shriner, a 30 year member of the Masonic Blue Lodge and the Charlotte County Builders Association. He owned and operated the O. Simpson Plastering and Stucco Business. He loved reading, gardening, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by: his wife; Anne Simpson, his daughter; Diane Frank Jones – Punta Gorda, his son; Randy Toni Simpson – Punta Gorda, his brother; George Peggy Simpson – Northport, AL, his grandchildren; Jody Strattard, Cally Simpson, Osco Simpson, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Osco Simpson will be from 5-7 PM Thursday, June 5, 2008 at the Kays-Ponger Funeral Home, Punta Gorda Chapel. A service will be Friday, June 6, 2008 at 10 AM from the 1st United Methodist Church of Punta Gorda.
