Patricia Anne Faulk of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away on August 18, 2025. She was born on November 2, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio, to Juanita and Ray Ehrenfeld. After moving to Florida, she graduated from Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda in 1968 with a spirit of determination and eagerness that she carried through the many paths she would walk in life.
Guided by a calling to help others, Patricia continued her education in Tampa, training from 1984 to 1986 to perform echocardiograms and electroencephalograms. She became a Certified Echo and EEG Technician and went on to serve patients at Advent Health, St. Joseph’s Hospital, and Punta Gorda Hospital, as well as in several physicians’ offices. Patricia took great pride in her work—she had an expert eye and a compassionate heart, and her careful readings caught issues on scans that saved countless lives. Her patients and colleagues would remember her as diligent and endlessly generous with her knowledge and time.
Patricia lived vibrantly beyond her profession. She was an active member of the North Port Water Ballet and an enthusiastic racquet and tennis player—competitive, skilled, and always a good sport. She found joy in simple, beautiful things: tending her garden, traveling when she could, treasure-hunting at thrift shops, challenging friends and family to a game of Euchre and gathering with those she loved and cared for. She put others first, offering a listening ear to anyone in need and sharing a quiet inner strength that lifted those around her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt—roles she filled with warmth, laughter, and grace.
Patricia and her husband, Jack, shared 56 years of a marriage marked by deep friendship and enduring love. They were true partners in every sense, leaning on one another through life’s joys and hardships. Jack trusted Patricia more than anyone—her wisdom, honesty, and loyalty were his compass throughout their life together. Their bond was one of laughter, resilience, and unshakable faith in one another. Together they built a life that was steady and welcoming—a home where everyone belonged. The legacy Patricia leaves is woven into the many lives she touched and the strength she instilled in those she loved; it will never be forgotten.
Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Ehrenfeld; father, Ray Ehrenfeld; sister, Sharon Lawrence; brother, Robert Ehrenfeld; and her beloved daughter, Jacqueline Faulk.
She is survived by her cherished husband and best friend of 56 years, Jack Faulk; her daughters, Melissa (Billy) Czahor and Angela (Paul) Cerce; grandchildren, Michael G. Memon and Matthew M. (Grace) Memon; siblings, Linda (Bill) Massolio, Karen Thompson, and Randy (Sheila) Ehrenfeld; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Gardner and Nancy Ehrenfeld; her dearly loved pets, Patches, Ayer, and Sabatath; and many nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
