Philip J. Maio Jr, 45, of Venice, FL passed away at the Venice Tidewell Hospice House after a prolonged illness. He was born October 16, 1969 in Queens, NY and moved to this area in 1991 from Long Island. Philip had a wonderful sense of humor and was so much fun to be around. He was a gun enthusiast and was proud to have earned his sharpshooters certificate.
He is survived by his parents, Philip J. Maio Sr of Venice, FL and Angela (Roy) Musick of Venice, FL; daughter, Rebecca Maio of Long Island, NY and son Philip A. Maio of Sarasota, FL; siblings, Angelo P. Maio, Anna Marie Maio and Josine A. Maio.
