Robert J. Enroth

Robert J. Enroth, 86, of Sarasota, FL died August 5, 2014. He was born April 2, 1928 in Chicago, IL where he grew up and met his wife, Jeanne, of 60 years. His extensive career as a Sales Engineer allowed him to travel and live in many states. He settled down in Bergen County, NJ to raise his family and later returned to the Chicago area before moving to Florida while continuing his work. He recently retired as a consultant at age 84.

Bob was an avid golfer and cherished his weekly poker games with his dear friends. A sincere man with a positive attitude, he was deeply committed to family and life-long friends. Bob will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his five children; daughters Kathleen Johnson and Donna Pletsch both of Sarasota, FL; Judith Arnett of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sons Thomas Enroth of Wellsville, Utah and Gerald Enroth of Sarasota, FL; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am till 12 noon on Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 1935 S Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL 34293. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 pm, Friday August 8, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1301 Center Road, Venice, FL 34292. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood.
