He was born on October 20, 1945 in Allentown, Pennsylvania and came to Punta Gorda, Florida in 1996. Robert retired from Mack Truck Company of Allentown, Pennsylvania after many years of service. He loved to bake and do yard work He touched many people with his gentle ways. He will always be remembered.
He is survived by his wife Irene Wieder of 20 years of Punta Gorda, Florida. His son, Robert Wieder of Allentown, Pennsylvania; 2 step-sons, Steven Davidson of Sarasota, Florida and Anthony Davidson of Bradenton, Florida; 2 sisters, Jean Wasyl of Coplay, Pennsylvania and Eleanor (Gil) Stauffer of Hellertown, Pennsylvania and a brother, Richard (Mel) Wieder of Allentown, Pennsylvania; 5 grandchildren, Amanda, Allison, Robert, Cazlyn and Gianna. No services have been scheduled at this time.
