With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of our beloved step-father, Ronald W. Ewald. Ron was the devoted husband of Marna, who preceded him in death in August of 2024. Together, they built a life filled with warmth, resilience, and unwavering devotion to family.

Ron was the treasured son of Walter and Elsie Ewald, from whom he inherited a deep well of kindness and integrity. He shared a close bond with his siblings—his brother Gary, now reunited with him in rest, and his sister Joanne, whose love endures.

Ron's legacy continues through his two sons with Marna, Tony Doran (Patti) and Tim Doran (Julie), who carry forward the values and spirit he instilled. He was a proud and supportive father, always ready with words of encouragement and acts of generosity.

To his five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, Ron was more than a patriarch—he was a steadfast guide, a gentle storyteller, and a source of endless affection. The grandchildren were always thrilled to come home with quarters that mysteriously fell from grandpa's pocket. His laughter, wisdom, dedication and presence will echo in family gatherings for generations to come.

Ron's life was marked by quiet strength, dedication to loved ones, and a sincere commitment to those around him. His memory will remain a guiding light for all who had the privilege to know him.

We gather in gratitude for Ron's life—a tapestry woven with kindness, devotion, and love. Though he is deeply missed, the legacy he leaves behind endures in the hearts of his family and all whose lives he touched.
