He was born on May 17, 1947 in Owosso, Michigan, where he was also a graduate of Owosso High School, Class of 1965. After graduation, Ron served four years in the Air Force during the Vietnam era. Ron later graduated from U of M Flint with a degree in Business.ÂÂ He was retired from General Motors Corporation where he worked for nearly 30 years.Â
He was predeceased by his parents Gloria and Homer Gibson, as well as his brother George and niece Kimberly Gibson. He is survived by his wife Deborah Gibson of Venice FL, son Jeff (Shuye) Gibson of Austin TX, brother Geney (Linda) Gibson of Coronado CA, sister -in-law Marcia Gibson,nephews George (Monika) Gibson of Owosso MI, Brian (Stephine) Gibson of Celina TX, Craig Gibson of Plano TX, children by marriage, Alicia Gillespie, William (Vickie) Gillespie, and Marissa Gillespie, and Grandchildren Addy, Mariella, Roman, and Maddox.
