Ronnie Lee Pressley, 65, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Tuesday October 9, 2012 after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born April 22, 1947 in Clintwood, VA to Gladys and Everett Pressley. Ron has been a resident of Punta Gorda since 1960. He is a 1965 graduate of Charlotte High School.
He is survived by his mother Gladys; his wife of 45 years, Sharon; sons, Ronnie "Lee" Jr. (Dawn); Jody (Dawn); 4 grandchildren, Hunter, Reaghan, Riley and Grace; as well as many extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm, Friday October 12, 2012 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL. A Celebration of Ron's life will be held at the Pressley residence on Saturday October 13, 2012 at 11:00 am.
