Ruby Lee Fewell, age 67, of Port Charlotte, died on February 20, 2009. She was born May 28, 1941 in Wauchula, FL, the daughter of Clarence and Ethel Inez Gillman Jones. Ruby graduated college with a Sociology Degree and was married on October 15, 1964 in Okeechobee, FL. She was a member of the Church of God in Fort Ogden, FL. Ruby enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and attending church.
Survivors include; husband, Murray Fewell; daughters; Donna Walker of Port Charlotte, Dolores Kickland of Georgia, Teresa Myers of Texas; Sons, Bucky Fewell, William Nottingham and David Nottingham all of Port Charlotte; step children, Cherri Beck of North Port, Larry Fewell of Erie, PA; sisters, Louise Simes, Jewell Newell, Mamma Ethel Inez Jones; brothers Walter Jones and Oscar Jones; 21 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by; Father, Clarence Jones; and sister, Betty Nottingham
Visitation will be Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Fort Ogden Church of God, 6731 S.W. Kentucky Ave, Fort Ogden, FL 34267, from 1-2pm. Funeral service will follow at 2pm.
