Our deepest sympathy is extended to all those who will struggle to fill the empty space, that now remains, due to Scott's passing. My family had the pleasure of taking part in many fun adventures with Scott and Denise. We will be forever grateful for the memories. Scott was very generous, caring, and treated my husband, children, and myself with love and respect. We will always remember golf cart rides and my children's laughter ringing through the air, river swims and exploring the trails, Christmas in New York, and Linger Lodge dinners. "Scotty Dog" will always be at the forefront of my children's fond childhood memories. 2 years ago at Christmas time, Scott and Denise stayed at our house for the week. Scott reveled in all the craziness that a house with 3 young children can bring. Most of all, he enjoyed the fire place. He'd sit and watch the fire  whenever he had the chance, but especially when he got up and before he went to bed. He mentioned how much he likes it, a few times. This reminds me that, Scott appreciated the simple things in life. The things that matter the most. Rest In Peace Scott. You will surely be missed.

Scott was, in my heart and soul, my brother. He was at every life event for myself and my family. From my rehearsal dinner and wedding, to the hospital room when my son was born, to taking a beautiful rose to my Mom while she was on a 14 hr work shift just to give her a smile, and he was there at my Mom's passing. Oh my, there is not enough room on this page to share how much Scott AKA, Scotty Dog has impacted my life. I am heart broken. I feel very loved and blessed to have had Scott in my life for the past 32 years. Scott was a wonderful, amazing soul...One of a kind. He had such integrity, morals and values.

Praying for Scott's family as they grieve our good friend's passing. May he rest in peace.

Marian, Steven, Stephanie, and Shari, I am deeply crushed and devastated by the loss of Scott.  He was my closest and dearest friend that I will greatly miss.  Pam, Kyle, and I considered Scott as part of our family. He was there through all the major events in our lives.  We even considered him to be Kyle's Godfather. I know that he is gone, but he will not be forgotten.  As I have reminisced about Scott over the past several weeks with friends and family, I have gone through a gamut of emotions that have brought a smile to my face and a thankfulness to God for have known him for 31 years.  He was there for me when I went through the most difficult times in my life steady and steadfast.  His input and emotional support I will always cherish. He truly was a very special person that has touched so many lives especially ours. 


Christ promises that we will someday reunite with loved ones that have gone before us. Until then, good-bye my friend.

Scott, you once said that you felt closest to God on the mountain tops of Colorado and I will never forget your last words that you said to me while you were still on this earth .... always .... who would have known, except for the LORD Himself,  that the day that I was watching a sunrise on Prince Edward Island that you were watching it on Heaven's Bright Shore with Jesus and all our other loved ones up there .................... We are so sorry to hear about Scotts passing. Me and my family have gone to Scott at Soccer Line since I was a young child (now 35) and we recently took our boys there the past few years. He was always so helpful and kind. And we always loved seeing his little shadow, Timber. We will be praying for the family during this difficult time. 

It doesn't seem real that Scott is gone. I ment Scott throught Denise Kleiner. They were together for many years. When I would visit from NJ we would always get together for lunch or dinner or a ride on his boat on the river. I have many fond memories of Scott helping out for Jiggs Landing. He helped make key lime cookies with Denise and 
I and we talked about him being an Eagle Scout! I'm from a large family, my father and brother were Scout Masters. Scott loved his family. I Remember one Christmas going to his house and he had a clothes line hanging in the living room with different Christmas things hanging from it.  He said it was a family game that gets pass along each year. I'm not sure if he knew what it was about but he was a good sport and played along.  He loved Christmas and would help out less fortunate families. He would secretly put gifts on their porch on Chritsmas eve. In 2013 into 2014 he took several months off from work and traveled slowly up the coast with Denise. He ended up in Nj and attended my families Christmas party. He fit right in and had a wonderful time. My husband Brian became friends with him
and we went out to dinner a few time in Nj and at Linger Lodge.
Scott touched so many people. I'm sure his family and workers are at a complete loss. 
I will be traveling to Florida with Denise to attend his life celebration. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Scott's pain is now gone and our's has begun. This is tuff to deal with. I have a few pictures to share. Sincerely, Anne Grygo


Scott loved life and everyone on his journey. He loved dogs, especially Timber and Kaya, Grizzly's in Alaska, counting eagles in Squamish, Vancouver, diving with Jesus, dog sledding in Colorado, flying to the Dry Tortugas and boating on the river out his back door. At Disney, he was a kid all over again. He loved campfires and talking for hours. I'm so grateful for everything he taught me and how he inspired me to follow him on his adventures. He will always hold a special place in my heart. So sad to lose him so soon. 

We were very saddened to hear of Scott's passing. We enjoyed many holidays with him when he came to NJ. His easy going nature and adventuresome spirit made him so easy to like.  Our family will miss him!
