To Barry's cherished family, friends and colleagues,

First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt condolences! I am now just learning of his passing and am shocked to hear this news!

Barry and I met on a soccer exchange in 1969 and became quick friends. As we got older we fell out of touch, but I will never forget his friendship and kindness!

Dear Mandy and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Barry's passing. We had a text conversation a week before he passed and he took comfort that you were all with him. 
Barry was a very kind man and so helpful when i leased my car from him when i moved to Vancouver. I was there the day he was told of his illness and he always maintained a positive outlook. 
The world will be worse off without Barry.
Rest in Peace Barry- miss you my friend.

I did not get the chance to know Barry that well, but what I did know is that he always came into work with his head held high and a smile on his face, all the time! Barry will be missed!
