Every now and then, a student comes along who simply touches your heart. Braiden was one of those kids.
We connected in elementary school, and I had the privilege of staying connected with him through to his graduation in 2022. We shared a love of baseball, and I always enjoyed following his journey as a ball player.
Braiden was kind, thoughtful, and had a great sense of humour — especially when I was pushing him to get some English or Math done!
I’ll always remember Braiden showing up with flowers for my retirement in 2024. That gesture meant more to me than he probably ever knew and spoke volumes about the kind of young man he was.
I feel very fortunate our paths crossed. My heartfelt condolences to Braiden’s family, Nicole, and everyone who loved him. He will be deeply missed. ❤️ Julie Fitzgerald (retired, PMSS)

braiden was such a light. he was hard working, kind, funny, and a great friend to so many. he had a very sarcastic side and I remember the little jokes he would make, it’s hard to believe that I’ll never hear them anymore. I’m devastated and praying for the family, his partner and friends during this difficult time. his memory will forever be alive through the people he impacted no matter how small of an interaction. I had the privilege to watch his love story unfold, and the joy the two of them shared. I know he is in a better place now, and i pray for healing and peace for those closest to him. we miss you braiden.

My condolences to the family and friends as he was a wonderful young man and will be very much missed by all who new him.
