The family is saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Dorothy Elizabeth Bird. She was predeceased by her first husband, Leslie Bird (1998), and by her second husband, Anthony Bragg (2025).
Dorothy was the dearly loved mother of Brian (Wendy), Josie Baker (Leigh), and Barry (Krissy). She will be forever cherished by her seven grandchildren - Kyle, Kurt, Tristan, Hayley, Kirby, Derek, Stephanie and their partners - and by her great-grandchildren who brought her so much joy.
Proud of her English roots, Dorothy embraced life with enthusiasm. She was an avid lawn bowler and a longtime member of her local seniors’ centre, where she formed many lasting friendships. She also took great pride in participating in the BC Senior Games.
The family will gather privately to celebrate Dorothy’s life.
