LINDSEY, Ella Jean (nee Mattson) Mom, Granny passed away peacefully on November 12, 2019 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Elsie Mattson and son-in-law Bob Campbell. She will be remembered by her loving husband Joe, daughters Tracy Campbell and Jody Lindsey, granddaughter Lindsey Campbell (Josh Gagne), grandson Allan Campbell along with family and friends both near and far. Jean was born in a small Saskatchewan town on March 25, 1935. Not a town so much, as her birth certificate had land coordinates. Jean was raised in Moose Jaw where she enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. Throughout the years, Jean worked at Eaton’s, Sears and Nabob where she made many lifelong friends. After marrying Joe in 1958, they moved to Prince George before settling in Coquitlam. They resided in the same house for 51 years where Tracy and Jody were raised. Jean was always so proud of her daughters. Jean was overjoyed when her grandchildren came into her life and never missed an opportunity to spoil them. Jean’s hobbies included painting, crafting, “occasional” trips to the casino but nothing compared to a Coca Cola and a Dairy Milk. She will be missed greatly but forever in our hearts. At Jean’s request, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place.
