Rest in eternal peace Desi. Life is too short, and we were lucky enough to share laughter with you and Paco some years back when we visited your home in Canada. You will be missed. 

To the Nery Family
     I thank the Lord for allowing me to attend the eight nights of prayers and eulogies  for Desi. Thank you Con.
       I realized I didn’t know Desi beyond the “hi, hello, musta? “ stage everytime we would come to Horseshoe to visit Butchie, Connie and the kids. Butchie is my younger sibling.
     I learned so much from the sharings, Desi the good cook, life of the party, perfect host, best friend, best Mom, best wife, best Tita, and most of all, her deep devotion to Mama Mary. If I’m not mistaken, she passed away on the first Saturday of September and her will be buried on Mama Mary’s birthday. Isn’t that a privilege for Mama Mary’s follower?
     They say that the souls who passed away within the 40 days are still with us, altho not seen
     Secretly, I asked her to help me and intercede for me, whisper my 
 healing for chronic respiratory failure. Mama Mary will listen to the prayer of a faithful servant who offered all her afflictions for others.  

To Brother Paco and family,

We are sorry to hear of your loss.  We extend our deepest sympathy and condolences.  You will be in our prayers and most importantly, we will continue to pray for the repose of the soul of Sister Des.

May you find solace in God’s loving mercy and comforting hands.
