It is with great heartache that we announce the passing of Janet Margaret Ann Glowa, born on January 14, 1955, in Saskatchewan, Canada, who passed on July 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and friends
Janet lived a life measured not by what she had, but by what she gave. Her heart and home were always open, and there was never a shortage of love, laughter, or a place at her table. She had a rare gift for making people feel seen, welcomed, and valued. To so many, she was more than a mother, auntie, sister, or friend she was a safe place, a listening ear, and a source of unwavering love and strength.
She leaves behind her loving children, their spouses, her cherished grandchildren, and a large circle of family and friends whose lives are forever richer because she was part of them. Becoming a grandmother was one of Janet’s greatest joys. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and the love she had for them knew no bounds.
Janet faced life’s greatest challenges with remarkable courage, quiet resilience, and an unshakable spirit. She believed that no obstacle was impossible, often reminding those she loved, “Where there is a will, there is a way.” Those words were more than a saying they were the way she lived her life.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that love like Janet’s does not end. It lives on in the lessons she taught, the memories she created, the family she cherished, and the countless lives she touched. Her story will continue to be told in every act of kindness, every shared laugh, and every heart that was made better simply by knowing her.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts Always.
