Jean Jones

She was 93 years old, born (1929) and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland where she graduated from Royal Victoria Hospital with her RN. She immigrated to Canada with her husband and daughter in 1956 and gave a life of service to Christian Woman’s Club, FBS, Anvil Island, and her family. Her home was welcome to visitors – a fresh pot of tea and baked goods were provided or a fine meal.

She was predeceased by her husband Dr. Arthur Jones in 2008 and is survived by her children: Deirdre (Bob), Brian (Marion), Lliam, Niall (Angela); grandchildren: Anna (Ryan), Matthew (Naomi), Kendal (Evan), Charmaine (Trevor), Chelsea (Matthew), Tyler (Caroline), Kaitlyn, Arthur, and Keir; and twelve great grandchildren.

Her Celebration of Life service will be at 11am, Saturday February 18th at Eagle Ridge Bible Fellowship Church in Coquitlam, 1160 Lansdowne Dr., Coquitlam
