Chase River was a great place to spend our youth.  One of my fondest memories was the group of kids heading for the swimming hole on the Nanaimo River.  We all gravitated to the river on those warm and sunny summer days to enjoy the friendship, fun and water.  Karalee was one of those kids that loved to be with the group and had a great time in the water.  After swimming, we would make our way to Hogan's corner store for either ice cream or soda before heading home at the end of the day.

Karalee, thanks for the good times.
