Linda was born December 16, 1942 in England. In 1960, Linda moved to Canada at the age of 17, where they settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In 1976, Linda moved to BC, with her then husband and her children Ian and Monica.
Linda had a love for books, birds, gardening, travel and of course snooker. She would share her love and knowledge with everyone that asked. Linda’s love for books, lead her to her job working in for the Coquitlam school district, in high school libraries. After retirement, Linda loved to travel with friends, and of course her snooker and lunch dated too! Also, her walks with her beloved dogs Oreo and Tofu.
Linda’s biggest love was her family and spending time with them. Linda’s children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters and brother, nieces and nephews, whom she loved so much, will miss her deeply. But, memories of her sense of humour, contagious laugh and beautiful smile will live on in them forever.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.firstmemorialportcoquitlam.com for the Deak family.
