My deepest condolences to the Cant,Hanna etc. families in the death of Marge.  I worked with Marge for many  years at the City of Burnaby and after retirement we reconnected.  
I am sorry I will not be able to attend today, I will join you virtually.
I know that Marge loved you all and was very proud of you.

Marj's presence was truly one-of-a-kind, and as we reflect on her life, we can't help but smile at some of the memories and moments we shared with her.

Marj had a wonderful sense of humor; deadpan, clever, sometimes mischievous, and always with a twinkle in her eye. Her laughter was infectious, and she brought joy to many moments we shared.

Her conversations were equally remarkable. Marj had an incredible ability to cut through the noise and speak her mind with honesty and candor. She rarely minced her words, and we respected her for it. In a world where sincerity is sometimes scarce, Marj's straightforwardness was often unexpectedly refreshing. Her conversations were more than just words; they were a reflection of her authenticity.

Even as she faced health issues, Marj showed us what true strength and resilience were all about. She never allowed her challenges to define her or deter her spirit. Instead, she kept her chin up, facing adversity with grace and composure. Not once did we hear her complain about her circumstances. Her strength was a testament to the remarkable woman she was.

As we bid farewell to Marj, let us not dwell on the sadness of her absence, but rather, let us celebrate the incredible life she lived. Let us remember the laughter, the honesty, the strength, and the love she shared with us. In honoring her memory, we will strive to live our lives with the same spirit, humor, and resilience that she exemplified and we carry her memory forward within us.

Marge was a special friend to my sisters and me since we were teenagers.  Her kindness and laughter brought much joy.  I will always be very grateful for the many times we shared together, for her caring spirit and her zest for life!  Condolences and best wishes to all her family, ❤️ .

Marge and I worked together in the early 2000s at the rec centre and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She had the best energy and was such a wonderful person. Rest in Peace friend.
