Martha remained active, working as a volunteer at Eagle Ridge Hospital. She enjoyed many hobbies including sewing, knitting, baking and reading. She was a fit woman, who pursued a variety of physical activities such as walking, clogging, dancing, yoga, skipping and weight lifting.
Despite her active lifestyle, Martha always made time for family and friends. Her quick wit and warm laugh made her a joy to be with, and she was cherished for her ability to make others feel nurtured and valued.
