It is with great sadness that we announce Patrick’s passing on Tuesday October 5th, 2021, after a brief illness and stay in hospital. Patrick is survived by his wife and loving partner of 60 years, Patricia, his daughter and only child Stacey Moran and her husband Martin, his step-granddaughters Shannon & Katie, his sister Doreen (Bob), and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Edmonton, Patrick moved with his family to B.C. at the age of six, where they settled in the Marpole area of Vancouver. He married the love of his life in 1962, and after living and working in the Lower Mainland for over forty years, Patrick and Patricia retired to the beautiful Sunshine Coast in 1997, which became their hub for many happy years of travel and adventure.
There will be no formal service at Patrick’s request, although his family will gather for a celebration of his life at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Eagle Ridge Hospital, as a token of our sincere thanks for the wonderful care they took of Patrick.
