Alex W. Hunter, 89, of Binghamton, New York, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Hunter; daughter, Patricia; son, Russell; granddaughter, Alyssa Hagerty; and his parents, Ray & Theresa Hunter. He is survived by his daughter, Lucinda Bridges; grandchildren, Andrea (Scott) Hertz, Colin (Christina) Bridges, Jocelyn (Jeremy) Ames, Jeff Heater, and Monica (Mike) Fuller; and great-grandchildren, Tobin, Ellison, Kylie, Avery, Liam, Abigail, and Murphy.
Alex was a proud United States Army Veteran and a retired employee of IBM. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Alex cherished spending time with his family at their cabin on Lake Roy.
The family will receive friends at the St. James Church, 147 Main Street, Johnson City, NY 13790, on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 9-10 am, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10 am.
