

Annunziata Nemia (Tina) died peacefully after a long illness. She was born and raised in Rome, Italy. Tina was a devoted wife to John Nemia, who predeceased her in 2009, a loving Mother to Mirella and son in law Valentino Fernandez, Joanne Hrabovsky, Mary and son in law Charles Hogarth and son Joseph Nemia. She adored her 9 grandchildren and was happiest when caring for them; Robert, James, Andrew, Cristina, Adriana, Bennett, Julia, Gianna and Martina. Her boundless love and affection were the essence of a truly remarkable woman. She was a long time parishioner at Saint Patricks church. Tina's zest for life was shared through her singing,dancing, sense of humor, kindness and her faith in Jesus. Her delicious Italian cooking was loaded with love and she was always ready to feed a crowd. She was completely selfless, always putting others first. She is also survived by her sisters, Gina Chilberg and Mirella Bellori, sisters-in laws; Angelina Babcock, Teddy Strates and Linda Nemia, brother in law, Frank Nemia and many loving nieces and nephews. Her memory will live on by all who cherished her.
Receiving Tina in heaven are her loving parents, Giuseppe and Giuseppina Fabretti; infant son, Steven, brother Adorno Fabretti, brother in laws; Mariano and Tommy Nemia, Maurice Babcock, Sergio Fabretti and Wayne Chilberg.
Tina's family would like to express their gratitude to Bridgewater Center for their care and kindness. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to either Alzheimers Association, Central NY chapter or Princeton Child Development Institute, 300 Cold Soil Road, Princeton, NJ 08540. PCDI, is a private, non-profit program providing services to the autistic. Tina's twin grandsons have been in the program for 22 years.
Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 9:15 AM at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY and continue at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick’s Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco & Son Funeral Home Monday from 4 – 7 PM.
