

passed away February 20, 2025. He was born December 24, 1933, to his late parents Clifford and Helen Otis. He was predeceased by his loving wife Shelva Jean, brothers Clifford and Ronald, sister Evelyn and son Duane and daughter-in-law Dawn Algire.
Charles is survived by his children, Linda Thomlinson, Binghamton; Anna and George Howe, Binghamton; Vienna and Mike Martin of Indiana; Clifford and Dee Otis, Wisconsin; Ringo Otis and Wendy Burlison of Whitney Point; Nicole and Rick Cummings, Chenango Forks. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Charles served his country with eight years in the Navy, before moving to Wisconsin. Charles and Shelva owned their own restaurant C&J Country Inn and he worked for Berbank Manufacturing in DeForest where he retired. Charles and Shelva decided they needed to be closer to family and moved to New York.
Charles enjoyed hunting with his family at Black River Falls, Wisconsin. He was an avid fisherman and had several secret ways to catch Catfish. Enjoyed going to the casino, occasionally had a Pabst Blue Ribbon in his hand and loved his family.
Charles will be greatly missed.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, 11am at the Riverside Cemetery, Windsor, NY.
