David D. Richards, Sr., 74, of Binghamton passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 2025. He was predeceased by his parents Charles & Eleanor Richards, brothers Michael & Rock Richards, aunts Margaret Ramanger and Mary Lou Shoemaker.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 40 years Cecelia Richards and their children David Richards, Jr. & Fiancée Crystal Dougher, April Richards, Lisa & Elyis Elsworth, Bobby Richards & Roxanne Devaul and Joshua Richards; grandchildren Dominick, Nathaniel, Shane, Alexis, Brayden, Braiden, Michael, Cas, Eleanor, Oliver and Ariana; 2 great granddaughters Julianna and Amelia; brothers George Richards and Terry Richards; sisters Brenda McNorton and Annie McNorton and several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
David enjoyed being outdoors, playing horseshoes, muscle cars, classic cars, bowling and watching his son follow in his footsteps as a bowler. Most of all he loved his family and the time he spent with them especially his grandchildren.
A Celebration of David’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, starting at 2pm at the American Legion, Post 80, 76 Main Street, Binghamton, NY 13905.
